Although as Arthur said, &quot;show me a man who has developed his arms to their potential without direct work.&quot;  I&#039;ve practiced HIT for 10 years, coached more then 35,000 paid workouts, and I also have never seen someone develop &quot;large&quot; (16&quot; +)arms w/out direct work.  May have happened, I just have not expirenced it. In fact, without direct arm work, my arms(as of tonight 16.5&quot;) get smaller, and fast.  Darden says do a bit of both (compound and direct) and I agree.  This five exercise compound movements only stuff just never took anyone to their max., no one that I knew personally. Chris.</description>
