Here’s another way to look at it:

Manuel has currently lost 55% of his original bodyweight.

Contrast that with current health and medical standards, which state that a 10% loss of body mass is *phenomenal*. And so far Manuel has surpassed that by 550%!

There’s an entry in wikipedia on him, as of February he’s down to 568 lbs, a total loss of 667 lbs in two years! pretty amazing considering the state he was in when he started.

As grammatically…questionable…as your comment is, you bring up an excellent point:

Namely, once someone swells up to the size where they can no longer move, how can they continue to grow even fatter?

Answer: Their family and friends as accomplices.

There is a certain level of personal responsibility that all human beings must be held accountable for. But there is something to be said of being in a toxic environment.

Folks, don’t overfeed your overfat friends (particularly with sugars, starches, or grains). You’re not doing them any favors.

i think it is his legs people in this country how can u late ur boby get like that i dont know how people that helping him. This guy has destroyed his life now he never beable to walk or have a right life he has messed his life. The people that he lived with should of stoped it. It is there problem just like his. The people he lived with should go to jail because of abouse.
