Trainers and coaches are important in the expertise and the impartial third-person POV they they bring to the table. NOT because they happen to be more skilled/better/faster, etc than the individual they are coaching.

2 things I’d like to note here.

1) Does this frame/ belief that she holds support her in her descisions? I’d say no. If you had not been persuasive, she would have lost a great trainer.
